The vests they supplied us were incredibly stylish.

For those of you who didn’t know, I adopted a portion of a local highway and dedicated my company to at least two years of roadside cleanup. As someone who does what they do because of nature and wildlife, it only made sense to give back in this way. I learned something very powerful during our first cleanup today: There is a lot more trash out there than you think. Cans, chains, car parts, lumber, clothing, bottles, napkins, plastic sheets, cigarette butts, unopened mail – I could go on and on.

I didn’t realize until today why this program is so important – many hands make light work, and when we all take some time to pitch in things start happening.
